Mike has built his reputation on his ability to understand client needs and bring real solutions to the most complex projects throughout the US. As company president, Michael is ultimately responsible for all operational departments and labor management relationships. He also serves or has served as a vital board member of the Federated Electrical Contractors, the National Electrical Contractors Association, the Family Center for Girls and Boys, and numerous other civic and social associations. Michael received his Electrical Engineering Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Connecticut in 1981 and his MBA in 1994. He holds master electrician licenses in CT, MA, and NH and professional engineering licenses in CT and RI. Michael is a member of the University of Connecticut Hall of Distinguished Engineers and the Business School Hall of Fame. |

Marcus began his career with McPhee Electric in 1993, as an estimator and quickly advanced into project management. In 1994, he was an integral part of a field team running a $20 million project at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. Marcus has management experience throughout the company including a term as Purchasing Manager and then as Project Executive on the $96 million Mohegan Sun Phase II Casino project. Since 2001, Marcus has been responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all divisions at McPhee Electric. He is our company’s alternate representative for the Federated Electrical Contractors (FEC) and is treasurer of the CT Chapter of NECA |

John brings 20+ years of construction industry experience to bear having been responsible for overall direction, operations and financial management of more than $350M in annual revenues. His executive perspective on matters such as finance, insurance, surety and process improvement work to continually keep McPhee at the front of the industry’s leaders. John holds the day to day and strategic responsibility for the overall financial position of the company. He directs all aspects on banking, surety bonding, insurance, project financial review and operational process improvements, and financial statement preparation. |

Ron is no stranger to our industry with a career that began almost 50 years ago as an apprentice in New York City. His rapid knowledge and capabilities fueled a fast track career climbing the ranks of the nation’s most prestigious electrical firms such as Fishbach and Moore and C.N. Flagg where he served as Vice President and General Manager. Under his direction, McPhee has completed millions of dollars of work at prestigious installations nationwide. Ron is clearly one of the most valuable assets of McPhee Electric as well as the entire electrical construction industry. |

Mark joined our organization in 1993 as a Project Manager and now has over 30 years in the electrical industry. In 1999, Mark was promoted to General Manager of McPhee’s Utility Power and Signal Division, where he managed the contracting operations of high and medium voltage work, traffic signalization projects, prime construction of cellular tower sites, and utility work. Two of the notable projects Mark completed was the Cross Sound Cable HVDC Converter Station in New Haven, CT and Northeast Utilities Bethel to Norwalk 345KV Transmission Line project . His enthusiasm for complex construction projects propels him and his talented staff toward the most challenging jobs in the region. Mark achieved the level of Vice President in 2004, continuing to focus his efforts on the utility construction segment and high voltage power side of our business. He has negotiated and managed multiple projects for clients such as Northeast Utilities, United Illuminating, ABB, Mitsubishi Electric, Siemens, and General Dynamics. |

Ken joined McPhee Electric in 2000 and brings his 25 years in the electrical business into play every day at our Stratford, CT branch office. Ken runs a complete full service branch of McPhee that services the entire southern CT market. His past experience also includes having owned and operated his own electrical business which pioneered the fiber optics market of the 1990’s in CT. Ken is an NJATC Instructor, holds CT E-1 electrical license and is an active member of the Fiber Optic Association and the Association of Cabling Professionals. He has been certified and recognized by numerous cable system manufacturers for design and installation. |

Tom’s absolute knowledge of the Boston construction market along with his highly respected reputation has enabled McPhee’s Boston office to become a successful player in the Massachusetts market. Tom joined McPhee in 2003 and brings extensive experience in both private and public sector large scale project administration and management. He has supervised personnel staffs of up to 75 electricians while performing as design engineer and project manager on large complex projects on the Boston waterfront. Tom owned and operated Boston Electrical and Telecommunication Company that was a mid-sized well established electrical and communications business in the Boston market for over 20 years. Tom is a licensed attorney and received his Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law as well as a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an E.I.T. certificate from the Board of Registration of Professional Engineers of MA |

Chip joined the McPhee organization in 1988 as a Journeyman Electrician, and his natural ability to lead others quickly earned him a supervisory position. Chip was initially responsible for our organizations performance on many large projects, and was later hand selected as an individual who possessed the skills needed to lead the technical challenges required in the launch of our high voltage testing and services department in 1992. Under Chip’s leadership this division has thrived and grown to be a core part of our business. Chip received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a graduate of the State of CT Apprentice Program. He holds both CT Electrical E-1 and E-2 licenses and is a certified level 1 thermographer. |

Doug has been a member of the McPhee team since 1997 and has over 27 years in the electrical industry. He currently provides leadership and overall management for the wireless division of the company. From raw land site development to cell tower construction to installation of active gear and the power component of the system, Doug provides the dynamic wireless industry with unmatched expertise, ability and understanding of what it takes to get it done under any circumstance. Under Doug’s leadership, McPhee has completed more than 350 cell site installations since the industry began to bloom in the late 90’s. Doug attended Quinnipiac College and completed the IBEW 4-yr Joint Apprentice Training Program. He holds a CT E-1 electrical license and is certified in RFS, Andrews, Comscope connectivity. Doug has an OSHA 10 certification and has completed critical safety training such as RSI (Radiofrequency Safety International Corporation) and is RF site Safety Awareness certified. |

Julie’s 20+ years of electrical estimating experience serves as one of the fundamental pieces of McPhee Electric’s success in the construction industry over the past decade. Julie is responsible for the estimation process and procurement coordination for most of our large and complex projects. Her exceptional skill at maintaining solid communication with our project managers allows for unmatched interchange between the nuances of estimating/design and the realities of construction in the field. Julie has been a part of the team at McPhee Electric since 1999, and has most recently added the UI Singer Substation and Cross Sound Cable Converter Station to her list of successful major projects for McPhee. Julie is a graduate of the University of Rochester. |
